Great program for learning although portions can be over your head if you are not in med school. Needs more cases especially EMS related.

In my opinion is the best for any medical personnel and i advice anyone for trying it
You can tell the authors put a lot of effort into the app. Great game that teaches as well as entertains... A must for EM clinicians of all types.
This is what practicing medicine is! The only way to learn is experience which makes this app seriously great. Would love new cases!
This app is solid if youre a nurse/emt. As an ICU nurse this app helps expand my knowledge of anything from trauma to basic med-surg scenarios. This app will definitely challenge your critical thinking skills.
Really useful app Im in Paramedic school and it is helping out a lot!
As a second year medical student who is interested in EM, this app provides me with an outstanding way to reinforce all of the important clinical aspects of my preclinical studies. It really has helped me learn a lot about how to approach cases with a clinical mind rather than an academic one. Thanks EM Gladiators!
The absolute best app I have ever downloaded!! If you wanna test your skills then this is the place to do it!! Im addicted and waiting for more scenarios daily. Great for new medics as well as medics that wanna brush up on scenarios. Keep up the good work.
(Edit: just wanted to add, it would be great if the app took advantage of the higher resolution screen of the iPhone 6+. For now, the UI looks just scaled up from the iPhone 5 resolution. Minor complaint though.) This is the future of medical teaching. Its one thing to read about clinical presentations and management, its another to actually DO it and learn from oversights and mistakes. This is what real-world experience gets you, we all know that. This app is as close as it gets to simulating real patient encounters in the ED. Its even got some benefits over real world experience, like receiving immediate feedback if something you ordered was unnecessary. Its like having an attending standing over your shoulder at all times and correcting your mistakes as you go along, polishing out your thinking as you go. The other advantage is that its a game and its portable. Im an easily distracted person and I get addicted to games easily. Now instead of playing candy crush or a tower defense game, I just pull out resuscitation. Its a game at heart, so it hits all the same dopaminergic pathways that any other game does. The fact that its mobile means I can play it on the train too. True, you could be reading Tintinalli on the train, but who wants to do that on their phone? Sim cases are the way to go. Any gamers reading this review know that when you play a game everyday, you develop odd (and mostly useless) skills. I can make turns in Mario Kart with pinpoint precision, without thinking about it. I can make on-the-fly strategic decisions in Command and Conquer subconsciously. I feel like Resuscitation works the same way, where you intuitively begin to know how to manage the croupy kid with strider from an intuitive gestalty point of view. Really, I cant recommend this app enough. I hope they keep making more cases. This is huge for EM training.
Best on any platform!
Thank you for developing games like this. I tried very hard to find games like this. I used to be a game addict on games that were non educational. It takes a lot of creativity to make a fun educational game. Because fun correlates with profit. And making a fun educational game is like the hardest thing to do. Ill help you guys out by advertising this game on social media. Wish I could donate or something to advance such games. This will save me a lot of lawsuits if I ever mess up in real life.
Always wanted a medical game that was super addicting and helped me learn. Love this! Get it, you wont regret it.
The game is really interesting but it would be more fun if it were more reactive. It would be so much more interesting if the patients conditions changed based on what you do and then you had to stabilize them. It would be cool if they could actually arrest and require resus based on what you do.
Great game for Paramedic students, I would like to see a better 12 lead image is my only issue. Otherwise I would rate this game at 5 stars, I would love to see more paramedic packages come out!
Excellent app for all emerging emt/ paramedics. Terrific practice and very life-like. Would recommend to emt s/paramedics young and old.
After a while it could use more cases. But you can always improve your scores. Learning a lot about being a doctor, and I love how it has a detailed case explanation at the end. Fantastic!
This is by far the most addicting learning tool for medicine I have come across. I am headed into EM, and I find these cases to be realistic and well researched, certainly on par with the typical case-based study guides available for purchase. Definitely bread and butter stuff here. I hope that in the future the app 1. integrates patient status changes as the user manages the patient- including improvements in VS and decompensation that requires immediate action and 2. Has the user read radiology studies and perform u/s and procedures for bonus points (with the option to get a final/ official read). I am also curious to see whether the cases are updated as criteria and management standards continue to evolve.
I am a professor in ObGyn and these is a great app!
Great game, even for a paramedic student. Really helps expand your view, learn new procedures, diagnostics and medications. Its never a bad thing to think like a clinician.
Ive had this app for several months and I really enjoy it but it definitely needs more cases other than that its not bad.
